Victims identified in downtown Toronto homicide investigation

Police released the identity of a woman who was found dead downtown last Sunday.

Toronto Police Department responded to a call about unknown issues in the Harbord St.-Ossington Ave area just before noon. and a woman was found with serious injuries.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has since been identified as Yoleidys Vilar Arroyo, 50, of Toronto.

Hansel Duarte Quintela, 51, of Toronto was arrested at the scene the same day and charged with second-degree murder.
