Video of Big Cannibal Gator Catching Unsuspecting Gator is Insane

I’ve lived in Louisiana all my life.

Alligator sightings are a daily occurrence here, just like in sunny Florida.

A few weeks ago I saw an alligator swimming down the Vermilion River.

I was always taught to avoid alligators’ territory, not to feed them, to be on guard, and basically to leave them alone.

There are many people who have ignored this advice and regretted it.

However, I’ve never been afraid of alligators…until now.

After seeing a video on social media of one alligator attacking another, I developed a new fear of alligators.

Travis Akers, a Newsweek writer and resident of Florida, shared the video on his Twitter page.

An alligator was chasing a bird. Little did he know that a gigantic alligator was waiting to devour him.

The social media reacted accordingly to the video. With a mixture of humor (mainly about the birds), surprise and fear.

Alligator cannibalism may not be very common, but it does occur.

Stay safe in the swamp.
