Videos show what appears to be a rocket attack from a speeding car

It was like being hit by a rocket.

It happened at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday country side dr and Mountainash Rd. in Brampton in what appears to be a routine left turn.

But there was nothing routine about the car coming their way.

It was “travelling at over 60 mph, bystanders tell me,” photographer and news blogger Kyle Taylor said on Twitter.

And it hit a white sedan with such an impact that the second car practically fell apart.

It was a “terrifying accident,” Taylor wrote.

They would never have known what happened to them. Without a porch cam on the corner, maybe no one would have done it.

Two women were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Your terms are unknown. Taylor was looking for identities to empower people to help these families.

Peel Regional Police are investigating this accident to determine the cause and whether there was a stunt driving or street racing component to it.

They have one person in custody and are expected to issue a press release later Thursday.

That was a bad car accident scene. Terrible.

Broker Arsh Brar posted the aftermath on his Twitter account, showing the hit car in shambles. It’s ugly.

He also released video of the oncoming car, believed to be an Audi, with its front grille badly damaged.

This is another reminder of what speed can do on the road.

The video shows that there was no attempt to apply the brakes. It is clear that the turning car did not expect a car to come at them at this speed.

We want to see how the two women in the accident and the driver of the dark limousine are doing and what the police have found so far. If anyone knows please let us know.

In the meantime, if this doesn’t serve as a warning for people to remember to slow down, nothing will happen.

People’s lives can get out of hand very quickly.

Literally.
