Watch Live: James Cleverly and his Georgian counterpart make statements after meeting in Tbilisi

Watch live as James Cleverly and his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili make statements after talks in Tbilisi on Friday, March 17.
The two met to discuss how British cooperation is helping to counter subversive Russian interference, including cooperation on defense and cybersecurity.
In a bid to strengthen democracy in Georgia, the UK government has announced it will allocate £500,000 to promote an environment of free and fair elections in 2024.
The foreign minister’s visit to Tbilisi comes after he traveled to Moldova, where he met his counterpart Nicu Popescu in Chisinau to discuss Britain’s efforts to support the country in the face of what his office described as “malicious interference” by Russia.
Ahead of the visits, Mr. Cleverly said: “Few societies understand the underhanded tactics of malign Russian activity better than Moldova and Georgia.”
“Britain will not stand idly by while Moscow blatantly undermines its democracy, sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
