Watch Thanh Le knock Yusup Saadulaev out cold

Instead of Thanh Le’s expected showdown against Tang Kai at ONE 160, ONE Championship released footage celebrating one of Le’s most-watched KO’s.

The ONE Featherweight Champion made a statement in his promotional debut, as seen in the video. Le delivered a knee concussion to the head of Yusup “Maestro” Saadulaev that rendered the MMA veteran unconscious.

ONE captioned the video with the following:

“Right in 😱 Featherweight King Thanh Le defends his strap against Chinese phenomenon Tang Kai on August 26th at the ONE 160 🔥 @thanhlemma”

Delighted fans were quick to express their anticipation of the upcoming fight, aptly replying:

“Maximum impact. Like a car crash.”

“Gosh scares me ever trying a takedown in MMA😂”

Check out the footage below:

In 2019, Le, an LFA World Champion, made his ONE debut against Russian beast Yusup Saadulaev. With an almost flawless record of 8 wins and 2 losses and a 100% knockout rate, the Vietnamese-American wanted to extend his reign of terror.

Saadualev, on the other hand, was the fan favorite. The “Maestro” had a professional record of 17 wins and 4 losses and went on a three-fight win streak in the promotion. He had already established himself as one of the most dangerous grapplers in the featherweight division.

‘Maestro’ started the first round strong and was successful with an early takedown. Le defended well but didn’t get back to his feet until the bell rang. The LFA World Champion regrouped and went on the attack.

Saadualev switched to another takedown and was hit in the chin with a hard knee. The impact immediately folded the “Maestro” onto the mat. The devastating knockout marked the beginning of a new era for native Lousianna.
