Wave receives a new contract with the purchasing organization YPO
The new framework – which could be worth well into seven figures – will support Wave’s public sector growth and enable the company to maintain its position as an active part of all public sector water retail frameworks in England.
The win follows an impressive period of growth for Wave, which was recently named Water Retailer of the Year for the second time at the Water Industry Awards 2023.
Wave owes its winning of the framework to the recognition of its social and sustainable commitment. The company helps its customers become more water efficient by encouraging companies to better manage their water usage and minimize water-related costs.
The new framework, already operational, will provide water, wastewater and ancillary services to public sector organizations nationally.
Mike Murray, procurement consultant at YPO, said: “Our water supply and management framework supports public sector organizations to reduce water use and implement efficiency measures. Wave has been successful in a second iteration of the framework and has demonstrated the value it brings to the public sector.”
Tony March, Director of Public Sector & Industrial Customers at Wave, said: “We are delighted with the success of this framework. Choosing to continue to be YPO members’ direct supplier of water and wastewater services is a testament to the outstanding service we strive to provide.

“This win is an important milestone for Wave as it solidifies our position with customers currently using the YPO framework and provides a significant opportunity for future growth.”
