We want to hear about your 12 months in lockdown

A national lockdown was imposed across the UK on Monday 23rd March 2020. The new restrictions were due to be reviewed after three weeks, with an upbeat Boris Johnson quick to pledge to Britons that they could “turn the tide” on Covid-19 and return to normal before Christmas.

Fast forward to the start of 2021 and the UK has been placed under its third national lockdown in less than a year. During this time, jobs have been transformed, millions have had to work from home, life events like weddings and birthday parties have been missed or cancelled.

Schools and businesses have been closed and loved ones kept separate. It has also been widely reported about the toll lockdown has taken on the country’s mental health, with the UK’s restrictions resulting in an “unprecedented mental health crisis”.

While some have undoubtedly struggled in lockdown, others have transformed their health, moved away from home and revolutionized the way they work.

How has lockdown changed your life and do you think some of these changes will be permanent? What surprised you the most about lockdown life? Were there any unexpected positive results?

And if you could relive last year under the same restrictions, what would you do differently?
