Weekly box sets to return this summer to iPlayer
EastEnders weekly box sets will return to iPlayer this summer, the BBC announced today in the latest news.
The BBC will premiere episodes of the hit soap on iPlayer each week, with all four episodes being released each Monday.

In an exciting announcement, the BBC announced that EastEnders box sets will return to iPlayer this summer.
With a busy summer of sports airing on BBC One, the BBC is taking steps to ensure soap fans continue to get their dose every week.

Starting Monday 27th June, this week’s EastEnders episodes will premiere on iPlayer.
All four episodes air Mondays at 6 p.m. This lasts until August 15th.
The move gives viewers the option to watch the episodes when it suits them, or tune in to watch them live on BBC One.
EastEnders boxsets return
Chris Clenshaw, executive producer of the long-running soap, spoke about the decision to bring box sets back.
“With such a big summer of sport, it seems like the perfect solution to have all four episodes re-voiced this year, giving EastEnders viewers a choice of when and where to get their weekly Albert Square fix,” he said.
“We’ve got a big summer ahead of us, so this is the perfect way to make sure nobody has to miss out.”
EastEnders was one of the most popular shows on BBC iPlayer last year.
In 2o21 alone it was streamed over 285 million times.
What goes on the soap?
As well as dropping the exciting announcement about box sets, the BBC has also given some hints as to what’s set to happen on the soap this summer.
The Mitchells will be at the center of drama this summer, with Phil making a deadly enemy in prison.
Meanwhile, Ben’s behavior spirals out of control after his attack.

Elsewhere, Mitch Baker is in for a shock when his estranged brother Avery and his two sons, Finlay and Felix, arrive in Albert Square.
However, it doesn’t take long for Mitch to realize his brother is keeping a secret.
It sounds like it’s going to be a summer like no other in Albert Square this year!
EastEnders normally airs weekdays at 19:30 on BBC One.
