What happened to Marienne in Season 4 Part 2?

Yes, Joe kidnapped Marienne. At the train station, he poured a sedative into her coffee and took her to a dark apartment. There he kept her tied up for days while repeatedly listening to Rhys Montrose’s memoir and claiming he wanted to “work” on their relationship.

He then built one of his signature glass cages, but the day he was supposed to lock her in, she tried to escape. In the fight, Joe violently knocked her to the ground and broke her arm, causing him to completely lose his marbles and splitting his consciousness in two.

During the first few weeks of Marrienne’s captivity, Joe’s Rhys persona would bring her food from a nearby Indian restaurant. He also got her painkillers for her broken arms in an apparent attempt to force her to relapse. But on the outside, Joe fell for his good-natured personality Kate (Charlotte Ritchie) and becoming more involved in the investigation of the Eat the Rich murders, so that the Rhys persona began to neglect Marienne.

Nadia was the one who texted Marienne’s phone with the wrong message about losing custody of Juliette. Nadia also gave Marienne beta blockers, which slowed her heart so slow that Joe thought she was dead. After Joe left her “body” on a park bench, Nadia woke her and helped her return to Paris and her daughter.
