It’s sure to be a different season with a new setting for our beloved characters. Aimee Lou Wood, who plays Aimee Gibbs on the show, said “The characters feel like they’re in very new territory because they literally are, they’re in a new school. Also, a lot of our feeling that we’re slightly off-center is actually just because of what’s happening in the story, which is because they are [at] a new school.”
Are there any cast changes for Season 4?
The cast will definitely be shaken up for Season 4. This is definitely natural as the show revolves around a group of young people which means people will come out of the show. Simone Ashley won’t be returning as Olivia, perhaps because she’s tied to another Netflix show now. Bridgeton.
Patricia Allison and Tanya Reynolds will not be returning, as Ola and Lily and Rakhee Thakrar will also not be returning as teacher Emily.
Emma Mackey, who plays Maeve, will have one smaller role in season four when her character has moved to the United States. Mackey had a role in Kenneth Branagh’s this year Death on the Nile and is the title role in the upcoming February release Emily. Perhaps this reduced role leaves her more time for film projects.
An exciting addition to the show has already been announced on the Netflix UK & Ireland account. Dan Levy, known for playing David Schott’s Creek Alongside his father, Eugene Levy, Mr. Molloy joins the team as a teacher. Other new additions to the cast include: Reda Elazouar, Thaddea Graham, Alexandra James, Anthony Lexa, Bella Maclean, Felix Mufti, Marie Reuther and Imani Yahshua.
