This comes after Corrie had to postpone episodes in recent weeks due to events such as the National Television Awards (NTAs) and the Rugby World Cup.
Due to the Rugby World Cup, the soap will not air on a specific day this week, but at the beginning of the week.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 16, the official Coronation Street The account reads: “There are slight changes to the schedule this week! See you tonight at 8pm on @ITV & @ITVX #Corrie”

The tweet included an image of the program change, confirming when the show will air this week.
When is Coronation Street on TV this week?
Corrie aired on ITV1 last night (October 16) from 8pm to 9pm.
However, it will be running again tonight (October 17) from 8pm to 9pm.
Fans can also watch the show tomorrow (October 18) from 8pm to 9pm, meaning it will take place over three days in a row.
There will be no Coronation Street episode ITV on Friday (October 20).
Coronation Street viewers are not happy with another change to programming
Reacting to the news, one account on X said: “Why can’t sport be shown on another ITV channel? Stop messing up our soaps. @ITV”
“Bloomin Sport,” another replied.
Someone else, not impressed with the schedule change, added, “Not again,” along with the eye roll emoji and a sad face.
“Put the game on ITV2,” one user suggested.

Sharing his thoughts, one disappointed viewer tweeted: “Oh not again!!! Surely the bloody rugby is over by now. Another nonsense on Friday night TV. We don’t all have Netflix etc.”
“Damn rugby… I’ll be glad when it’s over. Friday is terrible without Corrie,” agreed this fan.
One post, alongside an angry face emoji, said: “You could always put the rugby on ITV2.” You’ve got 4 channels, right? So why bother Corrie?”
In contrast, one person wrote, “I prefer it if it happens three days in a row.”
