Where is Young, Famous & African filmed? locations explained

Where is Young, Famous & African filmed? We discuss the Netflix reality series and its filming locations.

The first Netflix African reality show first appeared on our screens in 2022. As you’d expect, it’s filled with a cast of beautiful and influential characters from the worlds of music, acting and business, as well as a South African actress and media personality Khanyi Mbau pretty much the core of the show.

The audience follows the crew as they progress through social situations, career opportunities and relationships. It does what you would expect it to do and that first season was popular enough to give the green light for a second.

The show had two sixteen-episode seasons, and the show seems to pride itself on its over-the-top presentation and sometimes self-conscious silliness.

Relationships also swing wildly from over-the-top fights, well, more over-the-top fights, all dressed in the wildest high-fashion attire you’ve ever seen.

If she second season did enough to warrant a third appearance is an article you might find elsewhere on Ready Steady Cut, but this article, which you’ll digest in a moment, focuses more on the show’s production.

Featuring my favorite quote from the series so far “My doctor told me not to trust another bitch.” It’s ringing in my ears, you can trust us when we reply, “Where was?” Young, famous and African filmed?
