While still a relatively new addition to the Swoosh inventory, the women’s Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 keeps popping up in looks that will catch the eye of both dunk geeks and everyday shoppers alike. The catalog will now welcome its latest entry “Beetroot” rendition.
The exclusive Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Beetroot” colorway for women will be released soon. While the official drop date for this Beetroot Disrupt design is yet to be confirmed, each pair is expected to sell for $110. Interested buyers can easily access them on Nike’s online stores as well as other partner retail marketplaces.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 will appear in women’s exclusive Beetroot makeup
Previously, in 2022, the sneaker world has embraced several new styles of Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 shoe design. Various color schemes such as “Pink Oxford”, “Panda”, “Michigan” and “Sunrise” were introduced earlier this year. Nike expands its widely admired catalog with a new “Beetroot” color blocking that will be introduced in the coming weeks.
Just like the previous versions of his Disrupt design, the upcoming shoe will be made as part of Nike’s climate protection initiative “Move to Zero”. Here’s what Nike writes about its move-to-zero attitude:
“Move to Zero, Nike’s journey towards zero carbon and zero waste, has one goal: to help protect the future of sport.”
“It is a continuation of Nike’s strong commitment to sustainability and is driven by the belief that protecting the planet means protecting the future of sport from climate change.”
The upcoming stylish version of the well-known basketball shoe appeared in a subtle color scheme. The latest Disrupt 2 take on the late Peter Moore design features black, red, and white tones throughout. Variable tones of red are incorporated into the underlying black leather in the form of unconventional, signature Swooshes and other details.
While most of the upper is black, Beetroot hits take center stage on the spatial panel around the lower heel, inner lining, back pull tab and tongue logos. First, the perforated toe cap is surrounded by similar black leathers.
Next to the toe caps are the tongue flaps, which in turn consist of strong black elements. The tongue flap collar ends are embellished with a red Nike Dunk Swoosh branding tag. Similar black lace loops complete the tongue area.
Following the disrupt pattern, the Swoosh is placed asymmetrically on the outside. While the small Swoosh is embroidered on the side panel, an outlined Swoosh sits next to the embroidered logo.
Additionally, the inner lining features deeper red tones, while the footbed features the distorted prints of Move to Zero “Circularity” designs. These designs are added unevenly to the insoles of each shoe.
The women’s Nike Dunk returns to the tried-and-true white and black color scheme underneath. The sole units are executed with a white midsole neatly bonded to the black outsole units.
