Yorkshire finished fifth in the North Group table with seven wins and six losses from 14 games and amassed 15 points. They beat Surrey by a run in the first quarter-final.
They posted a modest 160-5 aggregate score, with Tom Kohler-Cadmore scoring the highest with 62 runs. Yorkshire then put on a decent all-around bowling effort to limit Surrey to 159/7 in a hard-fought battle.
Lancashire, meanwhile, finished second in the North Group, winning eight games and amassing 18 points. They comprehensively beat Essex in the third quarter-final. They restricted Essex to 161-5 with Luke Wood reserving a couple of wickets. Steven Croft and Dane Villas then batted half a century to comfortably put Lancahire over the line in just 15.4 overs and seven wickets in hand.
The Yorkshire and Lancashire winners face either Hampshire or Somerset in the title fight.
