BBC One viewers will have noticed that there has been an accident-shaped hole in the Saturday night schedules of late.
But don’t worry, the long-running medical drama will be returning to screens very soon.
Accident was MIA for the last month.

When is Casualty running again?
The next broadcast is Saturday 13 August at 8.35pm on BBC One.
This is actually the final episode of the 37th series of the show, but good news, series 38 will start airing the following Saturday, August 20th.
Casualty, the Holby City Hospital emergency room, was another victim of a brutal summer plan.
Along with other BBC staples, it faced a reshuffle of the schedule to make way for a summer of sport.
It was last seen on Saturday July 9th after airing intermittently in May and June.
Fans were concerned about the future of the show, which first aired in 1986 after sister show Holby’s axed earlier that year.
Holby was killed in April after more than 23 years, leaving viewers devastated.
They had a treat when fan favorite Adrian “Fletch” Fletcher had a cameo in Casualty that same week.

But actor Alex Walkinshaw, who plays Fletch, has ruled out a permanent return to ED.
In the closing moments of Casualty on Saturday April 2, Fletch was seen putting up posters at a memorial service for Holby surgeon Jac Naylor.
Legendary character Charlie Fairhead offered his condolences to Fletch, saying, “I’m sorry, I know you were close.”
Fletch replied, “Well, as close as anyone will let you get. You know, Jac, she didn’t show any emotion. Also at the end.”
He added: “With that, they broke the mold.”

Charlie agreed, saying, “They definitely have. End of an era.”
Fletch was previously a regular character on Casualty before joining Holby.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Alex revealed that Fletch would not be making a full-time comeback and explained why.
He said: “I think Fletch is too old to be walking around an ER! He could slip and break his hip!”
Alex is also known for playing the teacher Jez Diamond in Waterloo Road, which is being rebooted for the BBC.
But he also ruled out returning to school, joking that he’s not fit enough to play a PE teacher these days.
“I think I would have to lose a significant amount of weight if I was going to try wearing lycra again. And the hair is gone. Old Jez Diamond with the quiff,’ he said.
