Why isn’t there Bake Off tonight? Viewers will have to wait for a new episode

If you’ve been watching, you may be wondering why Bake Off isn’t on tonight (October 17) and when this week’s episode goes live.

England play Italy tonight and with the coverage being broadcast on Channel 4, that means Bake Off will have to be postponed.

When is Bake Off this week?

Due to the Change of TV programthe new episode of Bake will be shown on Wednesday, October 17th.

Tune in to Channel 4 from 8pm on Wednesday to see how the remaining bakers tackle Chocolate Week.

The official Bake Off account on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: “Ready…set…DATE CHANGE!

“Due to the England v Italy game, there is no Bake-Off on @Channel4 tonight, so we’ll be starting the Chocolate Week baking campaign on Wednesday at 8pm instead. That means an extra 24 hours to stock up on appropriate munchies! #GBBO”
