Will LeBron James play the San Antonio Spurs tonight? | January 25, 2023

LeBron James had a fantastic performance against the LA Clippers. The 38-year-old forward dropped 46 points in Tuesday night’s 16-for-29 shooting. Unfortunately, the Lakers lost the game.

James and his team are now 1.5 games behind the last play-in spot. However, on Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs they have a chance to improve their record and move up the table.

LeBron is currently listed as active for the Lakers and will most likely be suitable for the game. However, it is important to note that his status can change by the time the game starts.

The LA Lakers forward was doubtful for the matchup against the Clippers due to a problem with his left ankle. Despite these problems, LeBron decided to play and put on an amazing show for his fans.

In 33 minutes on the floor, the four-time MVP scored 46 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists. James was also active on the defensive end of the floor, stealing the ball twice and ending the night with a blocked shot.

It appears the Lakers superstar is no longer suffering from ankle problems as they are not listed on the injury report. However, his status may change before the game begins.

It’s important to note that the Lakers play the second night of a back-to-back game. Because of this, Darvin Ham might decide to give James his well-deserved rest.

James is playing incredibly well in back-to-back games

Despite being 38 years old, LeBron James has shown no signs of slowing down. In fact, he was incredible in consecutive games during the 2022-23 season.

The 6-foot-9 forward has played four games without a break this season. While the sample size is small, LeBron averaged 37.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in those games.
