Wisconsin Casino Finds Sports Betting Partners

Potawatomi Hotel & CasinoKambi Group plc, a sportsbook technology and odds provider, has signed a multi-channel sportsbook partnership with Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels, a multi-property operator with locations in Milwaukee and Carter, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is one of 33 states in the country with legal sports betting. Online sports betting is not allowed in the state.

The multi-year agreement will see the Potawatomi Casino Hotel open the first sportsbook in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is set to become Kambi’s 22nd active state, with 20 self-service kiosks, plus additional kiosks at a second location, the Carter Hotel & Casino. in northern Wisconsin.

Kambi’s sportsbook technology and services will be available to customers for the Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s initial retail sportsbook rollout, followed by an on-site mobile rollout, including live odds boards and bring your own device technology.

Owned and operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, Potawatomi Casinos & Hotels attracts millions of visitors annually.

Sports betting began in Wisconsin in November 2021 and is restricted to those 21 and older. The new compact version for sports betting took place on July 1, 2021, and the federal government approved it in August of the same year.
