Witnesses wanted to shooting in Vaughan which injured one man

York Regional Police are looking for witnesses after a man was injured in a shooting in a Vaughan Plaza car park.

Around 1:05 a.m. Sunday, police received several calls reporting multiple shots fired near a sports bar on Interchange Way near the highway. 7.

Police found blood and several bullet casings at the scene, but there was no casualty.
Shortly after, a 20-year-old man was taken to a Toronto hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
According to police, a fight broke out in the parking lot between the occupants of at least two vehicles, possibly a red or maroon sedan and a white or silver SUV, before the shots were fired.
Both vehicles fled the scene after the shooting.
Police believe the man who turned up at the hospital was an occupant of one of the vehicles.
The shooting took place in a busy area and police believe there were numerous witnesses who could potentially assist in the investigation.
