World Poker Tour announces the return of the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas at the end of Season XXI

The World Poker Tour has completed the release of her season XXI Schedule with the announcement of the return of WPT World Championship to Wynn Las Vegas. The festival takes place on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada from November 29th to December 23rd.
“The WPT World Championship Festival was such an extraordinary milestone in our 20th season last year thanks to our partner Wynn Las Vegas and the enthusiastic support of the players,” he said WPT CEO Adam Plska. “We hope we’ve established a poker tradition that we can improve and add to each season. We look forward to this year WPT World Championship even more memorable for the players.”
The headlines of the series include the WPT Prime Championship from December 7th to 12th, the WPT Ladies Championship from December 16 to 18, and the WPT World Championship from December 12th to 18th. Other notable events on the schedule include a Mystery Bounty, which will take place December 18-21, and the Seniors event, which will take place December 6-8.
The WPT World Championship held at Wynn Las Vegas last year won Event of the Year at the 4th Annual Global Poker Awards in 2022. It attracted a field of 2,960 entries with a total prize pool worth $29,008,000, slightly beating the $15 million guarantee. Eliot Hudon was the winner and he claimed a grand prize worth $4,136,000.
“Having paid out more than $53 million in total prize money last December, we’re excited for the return of the WPT World Championship at Wynn,” said Ryan Beauregard, Executive Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “Because of the incredible turnout over the last year and the strong relationship we have built WPTwe have extended the festival dates and will be creating a tournament schedule to make 2023 even more memorable.”
The complete program for WPT World Championship Festival is still being worked out, but here’s the remaining schedule for the second half after most of it was only announced weeks ago:
