Wyoming Family Shocked When Moose Sheds Antler: “Is He Supposed To Lose It?”

There’s just something about watching a monster bull shed his antlers that never fails to impress.

Like most antlered animals, the males grow and shed their racks each year, leaving valuable possessions for discarded antler hunterswho descend into the woods after the rut in search of treasures left behind.

A Wyoming family was treated to a rare sight when a bull moose walked right into their backyard and shed his left antler with a vigorous headshake.

If you are aware that they lose their antlers every year, you will be instantly filled with pure joy knowing that you are witnessing an annual ritual that is very rarely seen.

But if you Not knowing that moose shed their antlers, you would probably be concerned for the majestic creature.

And this family didn’t know that moose shed their antlers…

You can hear the daughters immediately start asking questions in extremely concerned voices.

“Oh no… oh my god, he lost his antlers…

Should he lose it?

What? Poor guy…”

Honestly I would have said anything if I had seen this, but it’s still great to hear that humans are being exposed to one of the cooler parts of nature for the first time.

The father seemed to understand what was going on so I’m sure he explained everything once they settled down a bit but honestly what an amazing experience for this family.

Nature…brings families closer.

Put that on any state park slogan.
