The XFL season kicks off Saturday and kicks off Week 4 with a double header. The league has been very entertaining so far, with Houston and DC establishing themselves as early frontrunners for the title. They are big favorites in the XFL Week 4 odds.

Speaking of Houston, the Roughnecks will qualify for the first game of the Week 4 list and online sportsbooks expect them to beat Orlando for the second time this season.

Undefeated Houston is currently a 9-point favorite, the biggest on the board. The biggest total belongs to Sunday night’s showdown between Vegas and DC as the defenders look to continue their perfect run as well.

DC are actually leading the odds for the XFL Championship and have slightly lower odds than the Roughnecks of winning the first XFL 3.0 title.

Houston Roughnecks vs. Orlando Guardians Picks

If you are new to minor league football betting then you should check out our guide to betting on the XFL. The league is full of unique rules that help set it apart from the NFL and college ranks, and many of these quirks affect how you should think about your bets.

Houston defeated Orlando 33-12 in Week 1. They have continued to make impressive strides on both sides of the ball while the Guardians have become the league’s punching bag.

Orlando sits last in both points for and points against XFL stats. They only had five touchdowns in three weeks and only nine points in their Week 3 loss. Life doesn’t get any easier against the league’s most prolific defense.

Houston leads the XFL not only in points allowed but also in sacks and interceptions while ranking second in tackles for losses.

Roughneck vs Guardians Picks: Houston Roughnecks (-9)

Pick San Antonio Brahmas vs. Seattle Sea Dragons

This is the second highest-priced game on the slate, and we expect it to live up to expectations. Thanks to former Dallas Cowboys QB Ben DiNucci, Seattle has the best passing offense in the league. He seems extremely comfortable in June Jones’ run-and-shoot offense and led the Sea Dragons to 30 points last week.

Seattle has seen all three of its games exceed the total while San Antonio has the ability to bounce back. Brahmas QB Jake Coan has thrown 5 TDs in three weeks while the Sea Dragons defense has scored the third most points.

Brahma’s Sea Dragons Picks: Over 40.5

Arlington Renegades vs. St. Louis BattleHawks picks

Arlington is certainly not a team to get excited about offensively, as evidenced by their three total offensive touchdowns. However, they are strong defensively. They have the second fewest points allowed per game and have forced eight turnovers, two of which have been returned for points.

Arlington also gets a strong clip after the quarterback, which poses problems for St. Louis. As good as BattleHawks QB AJ McCarron was for three weeks, he was under a lot of pressure. McCarron has already been sacked 12 times and the pressure has also resulted in two interceptions and three fumbles.

On the other side of the ball, St. Louis have the fourth-most points, leaving the Renegades optimistic about finding an offensive ceiling.

Renegades vs BattleHawks Pick: Arlington Renegades (+4)

Vegas Vipers vs DC Defenders tips

DC put their unbeaten record on the line against the winless Vipers. Vegas made the QB switch to Brett Hundley, and the former packer has thrown sharply for over 300 yards and rushed for 90 more.

Hundley will have his hands full on Sunday, however, as the defenders are tied on points with the second-highest-scoring defense. DC has already forced eight turnovers and also collected 10 sacks in the process.

XFL Championship Odds

player opportunities
DC defenders +225
Houston bullies +250
St.Louis BattleHawks +500
Arlington Renegades +600
Seattle Sea Dragons +800
San Antonio Brahmas +1000
Vegas vipers +2000
Orlando Guardians +2500

The Defenders, meanwhile, operate a two-QB system. It has been very effective so far as both Jordan Ta’amu and D’Eriq King are threats that can be produced with their arms and legs. DC leads the league in rushing by a wide margin and has two more rushing TDs than anyone else. Look for them to bleed out the watch with a run-heavy approach.

Vipers vs. Defenders Tips: Under: 42.5 (-110)
