Xiao’s endless suffering in Genshin Impact’s story trailer

In the course of the al-Haytham trailer, the developers of Genshin Impact had released another video. It is called Endless Suffering and is a sage of Xiao who, like Yaxa, has a noble duty to eradicate evil. It’s not that simple, because even the slightest carelessness can turn him into one of those monsters he’s sworn to destroy.

In the trailer we can see a long-awaited meeting with Venti Xiaos and a little conversation takes place between them. Also, we are shown a non-playable character, Bai Zhu, who appears in the story arcs.

A long time ago, a shadow was captured in the port of Li Yue. Suddenly a lonely shadow flew by and disappeared between the lanterns. All disasters around the world have their names. It’s thousands of years old, it can’t be prevented. It is impossible to deliver. And in rare moments, always so fleeting, the barely born hope fades, it’s not such a risk in film.

Next year, Genshin Impact update 3.4 will be released on January 18, 2023.
