Created by care home marketplace Lottie, the campaign aims to give back to caregivers who play an important role in society by caring for and supporting hundreds of thousands of people, young and old.

In partnership with The Care Workers Charity, Lottie is offering 1,000 free nights in 2023 in a range of fantastic destinations exclusively for care workers across the UK.

The lucky caregivers are whisked away by Unplugged, who run a variety of digital detox booths in the UK countryside.

The first Nights On Lottie giveaway with Unplugged will run until midnight on January 9th, 2023.

Open to anyone working as a carer or carer (both paid and unpaid), all you have to do is nominate either yourself, a friend, family member or colleague via the online submission form.

33 winners will be randomly selected after the end of the competition to win a free 3-night stay in one of the unplugged cabins anytime in 2023 (excluding public holidays).

Strictly speaking, Anton Du Beke supports the campaign as his mother worked as a carer and knows how important this role is.

He said: “The majority of adults will take care of a family member or friend at some point in their lives and of course the impact on a whole range of things is underestimated.

“This initiative is a way to give paid and unpaid frontline care workers a much-needed rest.

Lottie, co-founder of Will Donnelly, said: “We are grateful to Anton for his help in raising awareness of the valuable role caregivers play across the country every day.

“Despite being a fundamental part of the UK healthcare system – particularly in recent years – UK social workers are often overworked and underestimated. Many caregivers, particularly unpaid caregivers (someone caring for a friend or family member because of an illness, disability, or mental health issue) feel invisible and unrecognized in everything they do.”

“We are incredibly honored to have Anton’s support in launching our 1000 Nights Promise. Nights On Lottie is a great opportunity to raise awareness of our ongoing mission to support the incredible efforts of carers across the UK – and it was inspired by the fantastic work Nights On Us are doing to give NHS workers free during the pandemic hotel stays as a gift.”

Night’s On Lottie’s first promise of 100 free nights at Unplugged officially kicks off on November 23rd to mark Carers Rights Day 2022 (November 24th).
